My mother has been paying water bills of at least 600.00 a month and upwards. Its just her and my brother. Plumbers say there is no leak. Neighbors say they bill is only 40.00. Both neighbors have pools. She has no pool. Why is her bill so high? When she cals aqua America they convince her that 600.00 a month is normal water bill charges in florida. I tried to help her but aqua America refuses to talk to me and then once they get her on the phone she becomes afraid to defend herself. I don't know what to do because they cut her water off if she doesn't pay them the high bill every month. She is a widow 72 years old. Suggestions anyone please?
