Price increases

Walmart advertises their low prices daily on television; however, when I shop at the marketplace store, I notice weekly an increase one or more items I generally buy. For example this week, I buy candies in a bag to put in my candy jar at home, this week every bag's price was raised $1.00 from $2.28 a bag to $3.28 a bag. Prior to this it has been the pop I buy and the butter I buy. I may have to start shopping elsewhere, again.
