Ctibank not reversing charges

Citibank refused to reverse charges with a merchant that I purchased a timeshare from even though I provided them with documentation of cancellation. The reason they gave was because per MasterCard Association rules, if a vendor refuses your cancellation they can't reverse the charges. I contacted MasterCard directly and they had no idea what I was talking about. This credit card company is untruthful... I am canceling immediately. Very disappointed...
