For at least the last month, I have had no phone use and am unable to get on the internet

I signed up for fios because it was suppose to help my internet be faster. UH! I have not been able to get on the internet or use my phone for the last month. I made an appointment to have a service man come on 8/31 between 8am and noon. That took me 45 minutes on my work phone to set up that appointment. The serviceman called at 8:05am and I was unable to get to my cell before he hung up. I tried to call back and was told " well there is nothing you can do now." No service man or rep ever called me back or came to see what the problem is. It is near impossible to speak to a live person to get this solved! I have no intentions of paying the bill for the last month and I am thinking of switching to another company.
