I was contacted by Me Group International about their magazine Sapphire and the was told all about the 14 day cancellation period for the annual charge of £79.99 and was told it was easy to do if I wished to do so but 3 days after i received the the welcome pack i called them and told them i wasn't interested in joining them and the person on the phone cancelled my subscription so it was a shock to find out the £79.99 was taken from my bank account anyway even though i was well within the cancellation period. I have now been calling them at least 3 times a week to get a refund for 4 weeks now and all i get is that its being processed and it should hit your bank within so many days but these days pass and still no refund. It is causing a lot of stress as i am currently recovering from an operation and also on health related benefits due to a long term illness so to lose this sort of money is hard.
