I have read through most of the other reports and like so many others, my story is almost a carbon copy.

I too was contacted regarding a $500.00 gift certificate at Home Depot for the $3.95 S/H charge. I was supposed to receive a package and review 3 other services - Premier Movie Pass, Call One Unlimited and Buyers Union, which I could cancel within 10 days to avoid being billed. Not that it would have made a difference if I had cancelled within the 10 days according to some of the other stories I have read. I never received the package so I had no idea what the services offered were therefore I didn't know what I was cancelling. They got me for over $500.00.

As soon as I realized what was happening I called and cancelled all the services and got cancellation #'s for each. I have not been billed since and I informed my bank not to allow any bank drafts to be used on my account.

My bank was no help as far as recovering the money. At one point they reversed out a few of the charges but then charged them back to my account. I assume it was because they could not get any resolution form Premier Benefits. I have contacted them numerous times and got the run-around.

What bothers me the most is that fraudulent companies seem to know that if they can lead you to believe they are processing a refund for you and drag it out for 90 days the banks will not reverse the charges due to their policies.

We all need to take a stand against these rip-off companies. I can only hope that the right people see this and take legal action against them.
