Geek Square charged $369 on 11/3 for 3 yr unlimited tech support and yet cannot be reached as promised. They downloaded several unnecessary programs and did not fix the problem ehich involved access to Aol email via my new Gen 4 Hughes net system (a problem that I later found out was common to those new subscribers) My brother is IT and patched the issue but I have never been able to get service on a 24 hour basis as promised on their website at the time. I had written off any hope of redress but 2 nights ago was contacted by a "Geek Square" employee to place a refund on my credit card and ended up scammed again out of approx $300. Had to cancel card, uninstall the "join me" access program and restore control as a system administrator He tried to sell me a 7 yr Avasti program for an additional $150 but I said that my paid McAffee is fine. WHAT A HASSEL!!! My Visa fraud team is aware and the amount of unauthorized withdrawal will be refunded! Can't find much on Geek Squre reviews but it was billed as Sach Solutions so they seem to be real active in the last 2 months from what I see on this complaint board. Beware geek square!!!
