Miscellaneous

I signed up for a forex signal service on July 26. It costs $169 for the first month. When I realized that it was not a free trial, I IMMEDIATELY sent an e-mail ON THE SAME DAY of the purchase. I said to please cancel as I was not yet set up for the service. They got back to me that same day and said it was non-refundable! The same day and they would not refund my money. This was a service and not a product, so I had not even had the service yet. It was a Friday and trading did not start until the following Monday. I took this complaint to American Express and they said they could not fight it for me. So I got stuck with a $169 charge for a service that I
never even used! Isn't there a law in California where one can cancel in the first 24-48 hours? This was a scam because it was extremely unreasonable of them to keep my money as I notified them within hours of my purchase. The service was not used by me even though they said it was non-refundable. I find this company extremely unethical that they would take my money, not give a refund on the day it was charged, and a service that I never even used.
They are in the money scammer category for sure and everyone needs to know that there is no recourse once they get your money.

Unfair, scammers, unethical, and never to be recommeded by me... Ever!
