I got a phone call from US financia services saying that I got approved by a US government grant to pay for my bills or school loans. They said that this is a one time deal and that they'd have to process my application right away.
I asked for the website and phone number. I told them I'd research more before I give them any information. They said they would just need to charge me $3.95 for my own password and log in information. I'm very hesitant yet intrigued, so I told the gentleman to call me back. He was very adamant about what time he should call back so I just gave him a random time of day.
He calls back right on the dot, when I asked him. I told him, I won't be needing your services after reviewing and researching your company on-line. He says, "Why did you change your mind." I explained that I didn't need the services. He says, "Then why would you have me call you back?" I explained to him in a very firm voice, I don't think I need to explain myself to you. I don't want to use your services. His tone changed from irritated to angry, "I don't understand, you need to tell me why". I said, I don't feel like I need to explain myself to you and hung up.
I was irritated, but his day is ruined, not mine.
