Friday afternoon 28 june i went on line to find a hotel for friday and sat, in tampa, fl. I found holiday in express on line and called them. The phone number was listed in the ad. I called and when someone answered i asked if this was the holiday in. She said yes. I asked if they had a room for friday and sat. She said yes. I told her i wanted her best room. She said king sized bed and no smoking. She immediately asked for my card type and number. I wanted more information. How far to the hard rock casino and did they have shuttle service. She gave me the information after awhile. Her accent was so heavy that i could not under stand her and had to get her to slow down and speak a little clearer. Finally got the info and gave her my debit card number (a big mistake). She told me the cost was $275.38. She also told me that she would send an e-mail within fifteen minutes. She also gave me a conformation number. I never got the e-mail and the conformation number was not recognized by the hotel. I found out from the hotel that they did not make the reservation and that i had used expedia. I'm mad about this as i was tricked. The woman who took my data, lied to me. I asked if this was the hotel and she said yes. I will never truse expedia or any middle man again. I want the over chagre returned to me. Holiday express said that room was worth $93.00 a night.
