I was searching cars.com to purchase 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged. I saw this car was listed on Saturday 6/1. After negotiations, the general manager Paul Guess and I agreed on a purchase price of $32,000. He requested that I do wire transfer of the money to him but my bank Navy Federal Credit Union refused so he agreed to take the check. He asked me to send it through Fedex Overnight and I sent him the money on 6/3. He confirmed through email that he has received the check. He requested to charge my creditcard for $1000.00 to hold the car while his finance department verify the check and will refund the money to me after the process. On 6/6 someone has charged my credit card $500.00 with a company called Island Packages without my authorization. I declined the charge and it was refunded to me with the help of CapitalOne CreditCard Company. Islandpacket.com representative Andrae Houglan (843) 706-8231 refunded me the money. She told me someone in South Carolina called John Brown has charged my card and said he does business with me. Friday 6/7 Paul Guess with www.guessuedcars.com informed me via email he will ship the car to me. After I requested for the shipping company and their phone number to communicate with them, he ceased communication with me. He never responded to me through phone calls and emails anymore. On 6/8 I noticed that his website www.guessusedcars.Us was offline and it was not even searchable. I began to dig deeper and research him. Finally my research lead me to www.klietzauto.Us. Quickly I noticed that he has changed his identity to and changed his website from www.guessusedcars.Us, Paul O. Guess to www.klietzauto.Us, Robert Klietz. All the cars he was offering for sale at www.guessusedcars.Us were the same on www.klietzauto.Us, in WI including the 2008 Range Rover Superchaged with VIN # (Personal Information Removed), STOCK # G0632. He has changed his address from (Personal Information Removed). I called my bank immediately to stop the check before he has access to the funds. I investigated him more by using my friend's email and bogus address to inquire about the same car he claims to ship to me on Friday 6/8. He has listed the same car 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged VIN # (Personal Information Removed), STOCK # G0632 at www.klietz asking for $34000.00 this time. At this point I know for 100% that this was fraud and a crime and I decided to contact better business bureau and Federal Trade Commission
