Miscellaneous

I recently called Apple, and was somehow referred over to MyTechSupport. They gave the impression that they were affiliated with Apple, so I believed and trusted them, especially because Apple had referred me over. Anyway, they told me that there would be a one-time $80 charge a rebate for software that I could mail in the next day to get it for free. About a month has gone by now & I stand here being charged $80 again and expect to continue to be charged continually for that service. Additionally, I realize my temp guy was lying about being able to send it in the mail the next day. You have to wait a full 90 days to send the rebate in which of course makes no sense.

The "service" I received did not even solve my problem. I did end up fixing my phone, but not because of them.

I refuse to pay any more money to this company that I now realize to be fraudulent (And not even associated with Apple). Additionally, I think it is important to point out that when I called Apple for help, the man I was speaking to told me he had received half a dozen calls of cases similar to mine.
