Paid $34.95 for Money-Back Guarantee Loan Offer, No Phone Number

We were looking for a personal loan to help make ends meet because some unfortunate things had come up. I filled out an application with United Lending Services. It seemed pretty legitimate: we would get our money back if they could not get us a loan. Okay, a money-back guarantee, and everyone feels better knowing that. So I clicked OK and paid the $34.95, and it sent me to a page with several companies, many of which we had already applied to.
Then, when I went in to see the FAQs, I saw that you need to send x many letters showing denials and, most importantly, there is no phone number to contact this so-called company. Now we are out even more, as this was our last hope. It is very sad that companies take advantage of people already in a bad situation. As the saying goes, if it sounds too good, it is usually some sort of scam.
