Advantagelendingservices.com Complaint against the Internet Service only not the physical location

First there are a few Advantage Lending Services that are good, one in North Ogden, UT and one in Raleigh, NC this complaint is not agaist them. I went online to www.advantagelendingservices.com and filled out an application. I was contacted a few days later by a person claiming to be from the company telling me my loan had been approved and I would need to sign an application and send a copy of my social and drivers licence to them. The catch was I would need someone with good credit to cosign or either I could pay for lender placed insurance on the loan that would cost me a little over $1000 (red flag). I faxed the info they requested and I was told to send some money Westen Union to an individual, not a company (red flag), in Ontario Canada. Before doing so I looked at the application sent to me carefully and noted that the address on the contract was off one digit from the real company in Utah that comes up online. Also the website showed an adress in Raleigh, NC were there is another Advantage Lending located and again the address was off one digit. After contacting both legitimate company's I found out that someone had been using there names to scam people out of money. I figured out that the website is they get you. They are using a combination of 2 locations to build there credibility: the application will have the Advantage Lending in North Ogden, UT and the website will have Advantage Lending in Raleigh, NC. Be smart if something sounds to good to be true and you get a funny felling about something check it out carefully.
