I got a special from ADT for $99. To replace the one I had. Upon signing up for the service the sales man advise that it would be best if the system is done as a hardwird in lieu of the wireless that I had.
The contractor came out and decided that since what I had was not broken and it would be a lot less cost, he just went ahead and replace the monitors with theirs. The contractor also advise that he would let his company knows so that the bill would be adjusted likewise.
Years later, I am still trying to get this straighten out as they are billing me for $1,200 and now the account has been turned over to a collection agency that is relentless with the calls and does not want to hear anything.
I wrote letter and trying to work with everyone who is not willing to help.
This was done back in 05 and as of today's date no luck with getting anyone to understand.
