After inquiring about work from home I received an email from Mr. John Baines to do some work for him. I am to get paid $500/week to be his personal assitent. I just received a cashiers check for $2850.00 but I have not deposited the amount into my account yet. I am suspicious. So I thought to check into this. I do not want to be involved in anything illegal. So here I am. What should I do. The instructions are to deposit the check into my bank account and wait 24hrs before wiring cash to the phillipines. This part made me suspicious because I was under the impression that I would be processing medical packages for this guy and some billing. Nothing was ever said about sending any payments overseas. Should I call the cops?
