Miscellaneous

I got a job opportunity on craigslist. I worked with them for over a week and they were supposed to be sending me money for materials such as a laptop, printer, etc. I deposited the cashiers check into my bank account due to being under the impression that i was going to purchase the equipment. They stated after it cleared my bank that they had already got ordered my equipment for me. Since it was a cashiers check and i spoke w the bank manager asking if there was any way this would come back and i owe money. She told me since it was a cashiers check and it already cleared no so i withdrew the money to get the supplies. They told me i needed to send it western union to the supplier. @ which i started asking questions and they responded w answers that made it seem legit and the check had cleared my account and it wasnt my money. I sent it after reading the western union disclaimer page. It seemed to me the only one that would apply woukd have been an employment opportunity but it wasnt for employment opportunity it was for supplies so i thought and today i find out from my bank after being assured that nothing would go wrong because it was a cashiers check that my account is now negative for the amount of the cashiers check. I told the bank manager before i touched the money that if it could come back that i would be liable i wouldnt withdraw anything. She assured me everything is fine and now im left holding the bag.
