Rip-Off Big Time

Some guy called me and said his name was Charles David and he said that I was approved for a Federal Grant of up to 50,000. When I said Ok he wanted my checking account number which I didnt give out. I asked why and he said that there was a one time fee of 274.95 and that I was guaranteed 500.00 and 500.00 in Christmas expense funds. I asked him to send me legal documentation from his company verifying that they were legal. He then gave me all the info. He told me that he was from Freedom Grants Inc and the address was PO box 80508 Las Vegas NV 89180.

The number is 1-800-409-4224. Also when I asked him for a web address, He said they didnt have one and that they were a legitimate company. He still wanted my info and I told him to call me back next week and he said that he would call tomorrow. He had a very distinct accent and I could hardly understand him. It is a fraud. Please do not give any info to them Please. You would just get caught up in a scam.
