My car was impounded for driving with supspended license on april 19th at 1:30pm i contacted my finance company on april the 22nd 2013. To let them know my car was in the impounded. I was then told by a young lady that worked there not to worry they will pick up the car so i would'nt get charge the rate of 44 dollars a day. She also stated that i will only have to pay what they were charge to pick up the car. I call on again on tuesday the 23rd of april to see how much was the fees for the car i was told that they don't have the paperwork i called back the following day and spoke to ivan gutierren and he told me that my fees was 1,242.43 and i ask why was the fees so high and he stated that i had to pay a repo and towing fee of $500.00 dollars and i ask why am i paying a repo fee and my car note wasnt due until the 25th of the month he stated that because they picked up the car from the impound that it was a repo. My car note was payed and he went on to tell me that i had a storge fee when i was told that i would'nt be charge a storege fee and i was also charge a fee for something called a flat fee of $100.00 dollars. When i got off the phone with ivan i called clark and howard towing company and i ask them what is the policy on notifying a finance company and i was told that they notify the finance company 6 days after the car have been in the impounded. I was by ivan that they towing company notify them on the 22nd which was a lie because the 22nd would only have been the thrid day. I just need to know how i can get my money back for the repo fees and they money i paid for the car and to cut all ties with this company i went and got my licensed on the 26 which i only would have paid 427.00 dollars to get my car out of the impound.
