Impounded my car when I asked for a second opinion

I had a transmission fail near High Tech Transmissions. I had my car towed to them on a Wednesday, but Leo, the owner, said he was too busy to do the estimate that day. Thursday, he called me to say he wanted to replace the transmission, but could not quote an exact price. I told him I wanted to get a second opinion.

On Friday, the next day, I had AAMCO send a tow truck over to pick up my car, but Leo had already called to have my car impounded. The AAMCO tow truck driver talked to the impound tow truck driver (from Goodies) while he was loading my car, but Leo interceded and insisted they tow the car to impound.

This cost me hundreds of dollars in towing, impound, and rental car fees. Leo did this LESS than a day from giving me his estimate, and less than 48 hours after I had the car towed to him. He literally held my car hostage to his estimate.

I am certain what he did was illegal, let alone rude and obnoxious.
