Piece of brown plastic in clam chowder

The date this incident REALLY happened is April 17.
The system will not allow me to put any date past 2012.

As I was pouring my New England Clam Chowder from the can into my bowl, I notice a long, wide piece of foreign substance. I assumed it was a potato peel. I did not remove the item. After heating up my Clam Chowder and eating 3/4 of it, I bit into something hard. I took it out of my mouth to see what it was. It was the same brown piece of foreign substance. I cleaned it off and realized it was some sort of plastic with a weird design on it similar to the design of a fingerprint. I am appalled! As much as I LOVE the taste of Progresso's New England Clam Chowder, I am disgusted by this and will never again purchase it!
