Contrary to the boast on its website, Ballard Designs does NOT ship to Canada - at least not with any semblance of rationality. Placed a large order 3 weeks ago. Was promised a shipping quote ASAP. 5 follow-up phone calls and almost 2 weeks later, I finally received it. It was astronomically high, so I amended the order to remove the bulky, over-sized item. Waited more than a week for revised quote and it never came. Called BD to follow up and revised order never sent to shipping for a quote! Staff unhelpful, incompetent and unapologetic. Fellow Canadians - be warned and steer clear of this place!
