I needed a personal Loan to pay a few outstanding bills. I found Simmons and Fletcher financial group on line and filled out there application. Got a call back the next day from a Margret Cooper. She said that I was pre-approved for the loan. $25000 at 8% for 10years. She sent me "document " to fill out. She then asked me about my credit. I said that my credit score was poor. So she said she would run a credit check just in case. So she calls me the next day stating that the lender would like four monthly payments as a good faith payment bc of my bad credit. She asked for $1213 from a western union. So I sent a money order to the lender here in my home city. I waited for the money but didn't receive it. Two days later she calls back stating that the lender would like me to insure the money bc it was a big risk to take. So stupid me I sent another 1213 though western union to the lender. Well the next day the money wasn't in my account. I was going crazy bc I need to pay my bills she calls and said that the money is stuck at the boarder and it was taxed so I had to pay the tax of 775. I had a personal issue and was very fustrated I sent her the money. That's when I realized it was just a scam and she wasn't going to give me anything. I called the company phone line and tried to reach someone else but the phone kept jumping back to her ext. I tried to find the company's land line and address but couldn't find it. I did trace her ip address and it want even in that state. I called hr and asked for my money back and she said it would take 30 days but she was mad. Then she said that she did so muc for me to get this loan and why I wanted a refund. I told her to please give back my money and she hung up the phone. I never got to speak to her again. The local polic are now investigating and hopefully the FBI and RCMP will take over. That's what I was told
