Incomplete Software an Independent tax Preparers worst nightmare

I have just got off the phone with the sales department at TRX. I had finally had enough with the tech department and the shoddy TRX tax software. After expeirencing yet another unfixable problem with TRX techs going into my computer, rooting around in the return for over an hour, with a solution of " you'll have to delete the return and re-key" I felt I needed to see if management was willing to compensate me for selling a product that was incomplete. The response I got was " we have had a few issues but the software works and we have no plans at this time to issue any refunds ".

A few issues? This response angered me so much I started listing some of the few issues: Corporate returns and extensions could not be electronically filed, forms are still missing, infromation keyed does not flow to proper line in tax return and has to be manually added. After manually adding information does not hold. Some states still can not be filed, extensions still can not be filed. Also with each update they may fix one issue, but it will almost always undo the fix of another. If all of that is not bad enough, the technical support team is comprised of amateurs looking for part-time work with little to no knowledge of tax preparations or sotware.

I am a small independent business and I have worked too long and hard to build my tax business to have TRX destroy it with such total disregard. For them to not acknowledge how the integrety of there product effects peoples buisnesses in intolerable.

For all the money I lost on this season I don't think an apology and partial refund is to much to ask.
