What a mess this has been!

Order of " fresh " red roses arrived in Ithaca UPS at 08:12 A.M. On feb 14th. They were placed on truck for delivery at 08:42 am on feb 14th. (My delivery address is 1.4 miles from the ups building.) They were delivered at a little past 7 P.M. They spent over 10 hours on the ups truck. The box felt warm to the touch. Delivery driver knocked on door and threw box of flowers down in front of door and ran back to truck. Thank god the chocolate strawberries we orded at the sam time got here early in the morning from fedex. Upon opening box of roses; LIMP, LEAVES FALLING OFF... TOTAL JUNK!!! This being our 40th anv. On top of valantines day... You folks sure took a little of the glory away. With berries and flowers, I spent well over $100.00 (alot of money for two people over 69 y.O. And on fixed income.) My question is: Is this the normal way you conduct business???
