We ordered 125 roses from fifty flowers - delivery was on time and great. They followed up with us about the order and even called to make sure they had things right. We were impressed with the treatment we received.

But then...

The roses arrived at our friends house two days ahead of her 75th birthday and she couldn't believe all the flowers. They lasted 6 days and a large percent of them were gone and the rest were fading fast. She was very disappointed, as were we too.

I contacted the company and told them what was going on with the roses. The response I got was snippy and curt. Basically they said the average Vase life of roses is 8 days and what we had was normal Vase life. GRRRRR

I had to respond to that and told them our normal experience with Vase life and Roses. The only time we have ever seen rose not last a week is when we order them from a company that lets the roses vacation in Miami before they are delivered. One of the factors in picking this company was that the flowers were sent directly from the farm to the person receiving them.

I have not received any further response from and will NEVER deal with them again. Not only did they turn what was a very expensive present into a total flop for a major birthday, They did not treat my contact with them with any respect or consideration.
We did not get even 8 days out of the roses, all we got 6 days and they were spent. Not just looking sad but dead, and in 6 days.

If you look on the Internet for Vase life for Roses you will find what backs up what I said to them. You will find that there is a variance in Vase life depending on the variety of the rose but most varieties last around 2 weeks. That has been our experience. We can get 2 -3 weeks out of roses if we get them directly from the rose farms.
