Attempting to set up beneficiary IRAs as executor of my mother's estate has been a nightmare. I have jumped through hoops and have provided every document and notarized letter they have required, all piecemeal because they will tell you that only one more thing is needed every time you talk to them. They throw up roadblocks with every call to them. NEVER do they give you the whole scoop. It's death by a thousand papercuts. The last rep I spoke to said 'I gotta go's and hung upon me. This after 45 minutes on hold. Still trying to get a measly $38,000 of my mother's money after months of frustration. I'm beginning to think they are crooks.
