Recieved a postcard United Reservations Services
stating that I had been awarded airfare for two
as well as a 6 night cruise. Only requirement was
to attend a 1 hour presentation at a hotel 1 hour from my home. Had a lengthy conversation with a URS rep on the phone with multiple questions about the so-called gift and any costs
or strings attached. Was repeatedly assured that
there were no costs involved. Recieved 2 so-called vouchers that required money to be sent inorder to recieve travel documents. Checked the internent and found multiple complaints
from people who had sent money with vouchers only to later be ignored. Conclusion: A first rate scam. Sent no money and am P.O. Ed that
I wasted my time and gas to drove thru an
ice storm to hear these phonies. Recommendation: Do not respond to any
post card offers with a picture of Norwegian
Cruise Lines offering free stuff. These guys are frauds.
