This is a scam and a ripoff

I receieved a phone call from a Mark Chambers - rep # 70582 about how I was approved for a $2500.00 Mastercard, thru Capital one, and he needed to verify some information.

He asked several things... And then asked me about my bank account. He asked what my bank account number was. I refused to give it to him. I told him that I knew this was a scam and he does NOT have my permission to do anything! He then hung up on me. How typical.

I called the customer service number back - 877.247.0055, and some woman answered the phone with "whats your rep ID#?" I told her it was 70582, and she tried to get him on the phone. She couldnt and asked if he could call me back. I told her no, have his supervisor call me back. Of course, he never did...

Again, How typical... Again, if you are reading this, DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER TO ANYONE!!! If it is a legitimate credit card, they will NOT ask for your account numbers!!!
