To whom it may concern, I'm writing regarding charges I received for internet services dating back to June. I received a bill much higher than the advertised promotion. When I called AT&T I was informed that the bill was suppossed to be the promotion price. At that time, the sales rep informed me to. Only pay $19.95, which I did boa debit. The following month, the exact same issue occurred. I called that month regarding the charges. I spoke with a different really, and he said that I was supposed to pay the full price. When I asked why, be informed me that someone should have informed me of that initially. I told him that did not happen, and I was not paying for someone's miscommunication. He said that he could not help me, and I said then I don't meed the services. I recently received a bill from a collection agency for approximately $249. When I called to check the reason for the bill, I was transferred to 4 different people who either could or would not help me resolve this issue. The fourth person hung up on me after I had been waiting for more than 40mins. I called another number on the bill. This rep gave me this website. Prior to speaking to him, one rep did say that the promotion only applied to home phone services. I told him that I was not informed regarding that when I called about the bill the first time. My questions are: Why am I being charged for months after I told him that I didn't need the services if it wasn't going to be at the promotion price? Why was the account sent to a collection agency? I'm very dissatisfied with the actions taken by AT&T. I thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

They are doing bate and switch. I was quoted a specific price upon signing up for their services and not once have I paid that amount. My bill goes up every month
