Took money from Credit Card

Internet & Web / Online Scam

I ended up on a site with 'open office' or something similar for sale - I must have said I would download and there was a small fee - then I realised (as far as I can recall) that I was buying a 'membership' so I would get updates and technical support - at a price which made this 'open office' more expensive that Microsoft products. I stopped and exited the site. Now I discover that I have been charged £39.82. There is a phone number on the debit on the CC statement - I phoned and told them I couldn't remember etc - but then realised it was this visit to 'a' site - not theirs because my anti virus will not allow me to vist their main site - anyway I've got a refund less £5 admin fee (hopefully it will actually be refunded) so making best of this scam and losing £5!
