Ripoff, charged CC Without permission, very secretive, DO NOT USE THEM!

I saw an ad for a "free" book on how to succeed on ebay. I thought wow what a coincidence, I am just starting to sell on ebay. They said all I had to pay for was shipping which was $4.19.

They then informed me that I had a storefront with Surplus Alert and so I figured 'great, I get all this for free.' Well Then I realized that it said it would start charging me a monthly fee that was determined at the time of registration, I had not agreed to any fee so I tryed to figure out what it was. I had no luck and in the back office of your store, there is no contact information.

Then I stumbled across this website and read A LOT of horror stories and decided to cancel my membership. I decided to look in the store to see what iformation there was for customers. I found an 800 number 1-800-533-3330.

They answered right away and when I asked for their fax number so I could fax them a letter to cancel, the lady got very defensive and would not talk to me. Finally I told her I wanted to cancel my membership. She said she could do it right away and it was done in five minutes.

I do not know yet whether they will charge me or not but if they do I will press fraud charges on them faster than they can blink. I ONLY authorized the $4.19 for shipping for the FREE book.

My suggestion is that you do not use this comapany for anything and I am just glad that I found all of this information before I did anything serious.
