Dvr not working/THIRD time - DVR

My DVR is not recording all of my shows. I called twice about it already and am holding already for twenty minutes on the phone for the THRID time. I have missed the season premieres of all of my favorite shows - what is the point of this service if it does not work. I can't ten get a human being on the phone - qualified or not - and when i do they are supremely unqualified as evidenced by the problem not being fixed and this being my THIRD time calling about the same issue.
