Time Warner Cable Boxes are TERRIBLE - Time Warner Cable

I live in Central NY. I have had the unfortunate experience of having TWC for over a year now. I have two HD/DVR boxes and whole house DVR. I pay around $250/month for service. The cable boxes are HORRIBLE! I have to reset it almost everyday. It constantly freezes. My recordings disappear all the time. Whenever the time is at: 00 or: 30 and a recording starts, the box freaks out. Whenever I watch a recording the first 2-3 minutes always skip and I never see the beginning. I've had the boxes switched out twice and nothing changes. Even the installer told me that TWC doesn't know how to fix it. He explained (in laymen terms) that their wiring can't support the amount of data it is sending and won't be able to no matter how many different boxes I get. The installer blasted the company he worked for and basically agreed with me that paying as much as we do for the service we get in return should be criminal. I can't wait for Verizon Fios to get here! Do yourself a favor and NEVER GET TIME WARNER CABLE!
