MacPalace SCAM company! Ships broken, dirty, used parts and then charges for restocking!

I ordered a video card on their site and it arrived dirty, grimy, and dustyclearly pulled out of an old machine. I called them and was told that it was refurbished. When I pointed out that: (a) their web site makes no mention of refurbished status, and (b) refurbished means at least CLEANED, they had nothing to say in response. After some arguing, I got them to agree to a full refund. I send it back (at my own expense!) and ended up getting only 65% of my refund. I called and was told that there is a restocking fee. When I pointed out that I was promised a full refund, they started arguing with me again about what refurbished means and saying that their web site never promised a new item! I kept calling back and each time got either an argument or a promise that Jack the manager would call me back, which never happened. Needless to say, I disputed the balance of the charge with my credit card company.

Moral of the story: STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
