Ripoff false repair taken advantage of

Never, ever, deal with Computers Plus or Jay B Radio in West Philadelphia.

Last year, in September my laptop computer began to act funny. It wasn't getting power consistantly, soon it wasn't getting any power. I took it to Computers Plus because a man from my church worked there and I felt compelled to give him buisiness.

Weeks and weeks went by with no word on whether the computer was fixed or not. Soon weeks turned into months. When I did call to see if it was repaired, Andre would tell me no and that he would call me when he knew something and got the parts in. I never got one call from him.

In late April I told a friend that he could have the computer to tinker around on as long as he paid for it to get out. It was only 40 dollars consider all they did was look at it. When he went to go get it we found out that it was already fixed.

A week later I paid the 450 bucks that it cost to get out (almost a whole paycheck for me). The next week my cord (a part that they fixed), broke off inside of my computer. When I took it to Andre he told me that it was my fault and that I was doing something to break it. I didn't argue too much, as long as he fixed it for free I didn't care.

In June, I began having the same problem with the power. When I called the shop I got their answering machine about five times. I left messages and he never called me back. When I finally got in touch with him, he told me that I broke it and that he was going to charge me all over again. He said there is no way that they didnt fix it right and that I was the one breaking it.

I am a full time college student. I go to school online& why would I break my computer three times? I feel so helpless and stupid for going to him in the first place!
