Lies and backpedaling - Cable tv and internet

2 years ago was told that they would install after engineer came out to my house and gave the ok to run cable. 3 months later no cable and no response so I went with satellite. Called again 3 weeks ago and they said yes we can take it off of block and install on 4-20. I bought a new modem and arranged for someone to be home. No phone calls and no cable buried so I called and they said oh we aren't going to install according to dispatcher. Why didn't he call me and save me my modem cost? I will have him call you she said. Yeah right. I still haven't heard from him. If it was just ineptitude that would be bad but they won't even let me talk to anyone and act like they are doing me a favor. It is totally inconsiderate and rude. I hope they go down in flames for their condescending, lack of concern attitude. Never again! Direct TV has been doing just fine and will stay in my home!
