Runner's World Rodale attempted to hire field producers for Runners World and refused to pay

Rodale hired Field Producers to produce content for the Runner's World magazine website, and stiffed the workers. Then when payment was reached, they were in breach of contract. DO NOT WORK for this company. First they refused to produce a contract or acknowledge receipt of a contract from the Field Producers. Then, once work had been started, and field producers demanded to have their contract before finishing product Rodale then sent over contract stating that 50% of payment would be made in advance. This was presented to them, as it was their own contract, and they refused to pay any advance as the contract states. When field producers refused to do any more work if the advance 50% was not received, Rodale threatened to sue.
After the empty threats, the project was completed anyway by field producers, and forced Rodale to pay up before receiving the finished product. Rodale sent over only a portion of payment and stiffed the producers of the remaining amount.

On a second note, the head producer of Runner's World web content "Brian Sabin", tried to force field producers to plug his personal Band by putting them into the film projects for the Runners World website. When field producers refused, citing conflict of interest, Mr. Sabin threatened to sue, and not pay field producers for services rendered.

This company is unethical, does not pay for hired sevrvices, and threatens to sue when they are in breach of their own contract that they've written! Please report Rodale and Runner's World if you have any problems with them. This cannot continue.
