Shame on dell. We caught you.in january myself and a friend ordered the deminsion 2400 intel celeron. Promoted as free cd burner dvd, free shipping, mail in rebates no interest till 2005.

Computer costing $399.00 after mail in rebate. All this was confirmed through rep and financial branch. What we got was a computer. With no dvd no mail in rebate and interest attached. After many calls and I do mean many. We still have yet to recieve what we ordered. Although one of us did get a used dvd and the other go a new one.

One finally got rebates the othe didn't. After many more calls. We were told that we couldn't call the legal line for assistance unless we were atter. Nys. We have been told many funny things since then. But we recorded all the conversations. We have been dealing with this since Feb. We have decided to file with the attorney gen. And most likely will also go the att. Rout.

I suggest you tap every call from Dell as well as thier collection service. Not only can you use it aginst them some of them are quit funny. Stupid but funny. Will let you know how it turns out
