Direct withdrawl was less than convenient. Service was poor

As a Comcast Cable TV and Internet customer, I've had numerous disruptions in service. For my latest disruption in service, I waited a day before calling in to check when service would be restored. They informed my my bill was overdue and my service was disconnected. I'm a direct withdrawl payment customer!
A courtesy call would have been much more convenient than being disconnected. I had to make 4 phone calls to different departments to have the problem rectified. I wasted approximately 2 hours on the phone and had to go to a wifi location with my laptop on a Sunday evening to finish a work project for Monday morning. The whole experience was less than convenient. I am currently exploring other Cable and Internet options that are more reliable and provide better customer service.
