We've been using Comcast cable for our Internet access without a problem in our previous home. We moved this month to a home 1.5 miles away and we went with Comcast for tv, phone, and Internet access.in the home office, we can access the Internet through my husband's laptop and my desktop, but I cannot access it through my work laptop (ADP-issued company laptop). I was able to access it in my previous home.

I started calling customer service 3 hours ago. When I identify my problem as being Internet access, I get a message that says my call cannot be serviced and please check the Comcast website.

I found that by claiming to have a problem with the TV, I get a human being on the phone who then directs me to a human being in the Internet Tech Services dept. Twice I've gotten started troubleshooting the problem, and twice, after 10-15 minutes, my call has been disconnected. The second time I asked the rep to take my number and return the call if we got disconnected, but he said he couldn't do that - he's only able to receive calls.

So, I"m about ready to drop Comcast down the well if I don't get help. I wish I'd read the customer service reviews before signing up. We had such a good experience in our other home, it didn't occur to me I'd run into this.
