Brian Whyte Unethical, Lied about pricing

We got a computer virus and Brian Whyte, the owner of PC HEAVEN told me and my wife over the phone that he would clean up our computer, get rid of the virus and install virus proection for $125.00.

When he came to our house to do the repairs we asked him if we could read his agreement before he did the work on the computer. We asked him if the price would be $125.00 as we agreed. He pulled out an agreement and asked me to sign it and told us that it is $125.00 per hour.

We stopped him and said, "You told us it would be $125.00 flat." He said, "Don't worry about it, because it will only take an hour to do the job." My wife asked him if he would only charge us $125.00 as he agreed if it took more than an hour. He put his hand up to my wife and said, "I am trying to answer your husband's question now." He then looked around our house and said, "Judging from the state of your house (we have been doing some painting and electrical work) I should just take a look at the computer."

We asked him what that has to do with the computer. He said, "It is a reflection of the kind of people you are." He then said, "I have a bad feeling about this, " then he took the contract.

We obviously kicked him out and let him know that we would be writting this report.
