These guys totally misrepresent themselves. Their "high speed" internet service is very slow and very expensive. I endured the service for about 16 months and finally gave up. I live in a rural area so thought I had few options—turned out that I could replace HughesNet with Verizon's mifi system for less than half the cost and a lot more speed. When I called to cancel my account with Hughes I got the expected run around. They made all kinds of offers to get me to stay—when I insisted on canceling they threw the book at me& the cancellation fee of course and the requirement to return all of their equipment, etc. Bottom line is that they have a lousy product/service. I cannot imagine they will be able to stay in business.
