We canceled Keyon Internet service on 8-27-08. We were never told to cancel in writing or there was a 6 month cancellation fee. We made repeated calls to get them to stop billing us. 10 months later in June we were told by the billing manager that we had to pay a 6 month cancellation fee. We told her we would pay one more month which she sent a bill for and we paid in July. We were then sent to a collection agency. We believe this is unfair. If they would have told us to give them 60 days notice in writing we would have done so. NO ONE EVER SAID THIS until June of 09. The billing manager takes 10 months to return your calls and then is very rude saying we have to pay 6 more months for service we don't have. We do not think this is reasonable. We have emailed the company and no one has responded. We want this collection canceled and do not think we should have to pay another $150.75.
