Angie Stamper - Ebay Seller
Ripoff Do you believe she expects the shipping company to actually pick the broken picture up and ship it back to her for free?

Internet & Web

On September 27th I won an auction on ebay run by Angie Stamper, whose user name is pointofgrace32. It was a huge "Home Interior" picture. Three weeks passed before I even received the picture.

Finally on October 19th the picture arrives, broken. I immediately called her with the information ebay provides when you are involved in a transaction with someone. I described how poorly the picture was wrapped and she said "she had packed it securely, that the shipping company probably opened it up. Sure they did. She promised the next day to put in a claim with the shipping company and refund my money.By the time I had received my picture, she had two negatives from people who did not even receive their merchandise and once again she blamed the shipping company. She had also been suspended from Ebay.

I heard nothing for nearly a week. Then she e-mailed me and said that she was "still waiting to hear from the shipping company." That was the last I heard from her until November 6th. It seems she had moved to Tennessee.

When I went to reply to her e-mail it bounced back. I've been doing searches all over the internet using the phone number and return address on the box. I found that she sells, but the account with the shipping company had her sister, Tonya Griffith's name and address, instead of hers.By the way, her sister moved too.

In the interim, I contacted the two women who left her negative feedback and found out that she had promised them refunds too.in addition I called the shipping company and found out that they mailed the claim forms to her and never got them back. That is how I found out the account was in her sisters name.

I sent her a registered letter to the Indiana address over two weeks ago, and still have not received the receipt back. I reported her to ebay and Paypal (I used my balance to pay for the picture - I sell too). Safeharbour is looking into it, but since they can't find her, they won't do anything. I can't do anything with Paypal because she strung me along past the 30 day mark to get "protection" through Paypal.

I just wanted everyone to know what crooks they are. My picture did not cost that much. Do you believe she expects the shipping company to actually pick the broken picture up and ship it back to her for free???
