Charged double on first payment, account overdrawn by $322

This was my first time using PayPal, and they took out double the amount. When I emailed them, all I got back was "thank you for emailing your question etc etc".
Now my account is seriously overdrawn by $322.00 due to this double removal of funds.
Just a warning: do not use PayPal.
