Refused to give me rebate gave me the runaround instead

I bought a computer from Radio Shack and they advertised the price for 399. When they rang up the sale they said I had to pay 499 and would get a 100 dollar rebate. I sent in the required paperwork right away 3 months later they send me a card and said I did not send in the upc code but I did. So I sent them copies of the upc code and waited another 6 weeks for my rebate and they still did not send it so I called the rebate center and they said my refurbished computer did not qualify for the rebate so I called the store and they told me to c all back and talk to a supervisor so I did his name was John ext 1262.

John told me I would get my rebate in 4 weeks so again I waited and no rebate came so I called the rebate center again and they again told me I didnt qualify for the rebate. So I took my paperwork to the radioshack and they told me I did qualify and they faxed my paperwork to the rebate center again. So I waited another 4 weeks and called the rebate center again and they said I did not qualify so I asked to talk to the customer service center and talked to Pam. Pam said I should have qualified and she would check and see what happened and call me back. She called me back and said I would not get the rebate cause it was too late that they did not recieve my paperwork till 5-15-03 and the deadline was 5-8-03.

I sent the paperwork on 4-14-03 so they are lying how could it take a month to get there, I think they let it sit on their desk for a month so they wouldnt have to pay. If you call the rebate number 888-326-6188 they will tell you I did not qualify because I bought a refurbished computer instead of the excuse that they didnt get the paperwork till too late. All this time they told me I didnt qualify not that they didnt get the paperwork in time.

The radioshack store says they cant do anything its all in the hands of the rebate center but they still sell refurbished computers advertising them at a lower price saying that the person who buys is will get a rebate when all they will get is the runaround.
