Radio Shack rebate rip-off

We were looking for a laptop - Radio shack in the mall had a great deal - buy a HP bundle pack and get a rebate for $100.00. The cost was $899.00- with $100.00- it was $799.00- It sounded like a good deal-what a joke! I bought the computer on May 4th- sent the original info in on 5/7 including the original bar code etc. I waited the 10 weeks and checked online regarding status of the rebate - the website had no record of the submission.
I contacted Radio Shack and was told to send the info to the resubmission department. I again, sent all the pertinent info-I was told I would have it in 30 days - well, no rebate - I then resubmitted it again after the website said no submission. How frustrating can this get?
I must have enclosed my only other copy of the bar code as I cannot find it with all of my numerous paperwork regarding this rebate. I went to the Radio Shack store with all my info, spoke to the store manager - He made a call and told me that I could fax it to the number he was going to give me and since the UPC code was on my actual receipt - I just needed to explain that I enclosed it with the copies sent previously.
So I faxed all the pertinent info with a note on 8/22-I emailed them 2 weeks later after I checked the website and no response - not even a phone call-email or anything.
Today, after all of this un-necessary back and forth-I was emailed with a response that said they FINALLY got my submission - but they could not give me my rebate as my UPC bar code was not submitted! I hate Radio Shack at this point-If this is what you have to go through to get your $100.00 back on a rebate from them - I would never buy anything from them ever again.
All other companies, I have dealt with in the past, as far as rebates, have had my rebates out to me within 4 weeks! If this is how Radio Shack treats their customers then I refuse to give them any more of my money.
