Rewards - AT&T rewards for feferrals

I referred my daughter and when I didn't get my credit I called and complained. They told me they had made some kind of computer change and to sign up online again. Now they say I mad the referral to late and that I should follow the rules of when they made me resign up. Those rules say I don't qualify.
