Scam, rip off and dishonest

Recently, while searching for FREE FONTS, CD Earth appeared and offered a free CD with fonts. I only had to pay for postage and shipping. I gave them my card details for this.in that same order in choosing the font cd, I was asked to choose 2 more CD's. No where did a notice appear saying that it was for evaluation and that if I did not return it, I would be charged for it. I duly received the CD's after a period of time and, believing it to be free, I kept them. I did not need the others but seeing that it was sent to me free, I kept them.

I noticed yesterday that a charge of $29,95 was processed into my banking account. I was frantic as my account became overdrawn and the bank charged me $32 for overdrawn fees. I went on to the internet to look for CD Earth. When I found their website, I found that they had NO CONTACT DETAILS WHATSOEVER on it. No address, no telephone number, no email contact. Makes you wonder why?

I eventually found a similar complaint on Rip Off and found their number here. I called and was advised that the other 2 cd's were for evaluation. When I said I didnt know about it, the man promptly offered to cancel my subscription and cancel any further debits to my account. They will not refund me my money even if I return the CD's now.

WHAT A SCAM. What a rip off. These people should be taken off the internet for their dishonest business practices.
